To achieve this, it is necessary to design a human development and training plan to identify training needs by the organization's strategic plan. When identifying training needs, the different ways in which people learn, their previous knowledge of the topics, the pace at which they appropriate or strengthen skills for the job, and the context in which they perform their role, to fulfill the organization's strategic plan, are recognized.
The training plan should have two components: learning paths and personalized learning according to the participants' characteristics.
Learning paths are the set of training resources or materials that, when strategically organized, allow participants to achieve the established learning objectives.
Moreover, personalized learning; is a training approach that considers the previous knowledge, needs, abilities, and perceptions of the individual during the teaching and learning processes (UNESCO, 2017, p. 5). This approach has been applied in corporate training processes in recognized companies as is the case of Mercedes Benz, in which sales personnel were trained in soft skills to build and maintain an effective relationship with the customer.
